Sharing my experiences too. My flight was delayed because of an issue with an airplane of another airline that skid off the runway. The whole airport had to shut down. It was good that Thai Airways was able to provide us with housing for the next days. Also, having a lounge to wait in kept me sane.

I was wondering if you could clarify what the seat width was on the 777-300ER leased from Jet Airways. Seat guru shows the seat as being 35″ wide but when I spoke the Thai Airways agent, she indicated the seat was only 22″ wide.

I have been looking at going into an airport lounge for when I travel. Do you recommend going into the lounge the airline has or joining a club as such as I have been looking at Airport Lounges with CPP http://www.cpp.co.uk/airport-lounge/.

So I recommend that you just stick to flying with one alliance and get your points on one airline to get the benefits of a Gold card
