Nearly seven years ago, I visited Egypt. I wouldn&#039;t recommend anything more than two days in Cairo (the museum and Giza are an obvious must), and you should definitely see Luxor. I also visited Alexandria (not much there), the desert oasis of Siwa (interesting, but perhaps a little out of the way if you&#039;re only there a week), Aswan (really liked seeing Abu Simbel), and Dahab (watched the sunrise from atop Mt Sinai). I travelled by bus and train, but I also had a few internal flights, which you may want to consider so as to maximise your time there. Egypt&#039;s ancient wonders are truly magnificent.]]></description>
